My friend, Alison.

Yep, I am still here, still pregnant as ever! You know you are huge when people go from asking “how far along are you?” to “so… how much longer?”. Seriously.

So, meet my friend Alison. She’s ultra crafty-talented and beautiful.  She’s kind and goofy.  What a gal!  I asked Alison to come over so I could practice some OCF (off-camera flash).  I recently purchased a beauty dish and wanted to give it a whirl.  These are all in good practice, nothing fancy.  We all have to start somewhere, right friends?

HEARTshop kids.

Here are a few kids photographed during the HEARTshop, which I was so lucky to not only attend but be one of the mentors.   They were all such wonderful little models.  So, here ya are!

back to school.

I know, you were probably expecting to see some really darling pictures of my kids hopping onto the school bus… lol.  I promised to share more of these and although they surely do not have that “wow” factor, hopefully they’ll make you laugh nevertheless.  This boy makes me laugh a thousand times a day!

I’m now working on some pictures from the HEARTshop … stay tuned!

wedded bliss.

So, a couple of months ago I again had the pleasure to second shoot for the incredibly talented Alisha of Oakstream Photography.  Alisha is a one huge ball of energy, which I love.  A year ago she hired me to second for her even though it was my very first wedding.  See that wedding here, here, and here.

So, one year later we were brought together again for the blessed union of Mark and Mindy.  They are a totally gorgeous couple with an awesome sense of style.

Here are a few of my favorites from their day!

After the wedding ceremony they had a Chinese wedding tea ceremony, which was quite neat.

I just loved their exit.

Congrats Mark and Mindy and thank you again dear Alisha!

How is it?

That this image totally blew past me when I posted this diddy here.  I was organizing some files on my computer last week when this capture jumped out at me.  I fell so hard in love that I hastily ordered a 24×36 print then fished through the garbage, gross but really really worth it, for my 40% off coupon and headed to Michael’s for a frame. It’s my little shrine masterpiece of my little guy that I see every time I round the corner.  It makes me happy.

See how HUGE it is!

Thank you so much for your emails wondering how I am doing in these final weeks of pregnancy.  Life has been great, exhausting, but great. Today I sat on the couch and just cuddled with my little girl.  Not having anything to do but sit and relish this quiet time where I have no work to be done.  It’s bliss. And thank you also for all your kind comments on the last post of Jessica and her home birth.  It was truly a miracle and she was amazing!
