Morgan and Mike, congratulations. You were a dream to photograph; so delightful, graceful and gorgeous together. Morgan, you define the word beautiful and somehow make it appear so effortless. I wish the two of you nothing but happiness forever.
For our session we headed up to Mt. Charleston. It was absolutely freezing and yet so charming. I loved how the mountains and the trees allowed for such unique light.
Here are a few of my favorite people and consequently, pictures that I have ever taken. I may be a wee-bit biased here but nevertheless. And, because I am taking but a few clients here and there and because I consider this blog like a journal, I hope to share more of my favorite personal captures of 2011 in the next few months.

1st. I am jealous that your kids will wear those rad hats. My little guy is a pill and won’t wear a dang thing on his head. I’m lucky if we get the hood of his jacket on. 
2nd. Your photos make me feel like I am RIGHT there in the leafy fun. I can totally see how fun their little personalities are. They are just darling.

When I happened upon the nineteen year old Syndey-based photographer, Annette Wilson’s video portraits, I was totally blown away. I had done videos in the past, remember the darling Liam, but her video portraits were different and raw. I fell in love with every bit of Annette’s work and well, her. And so, I sent her a message gushing to Annette of how much I love all that she does. She responded quickly and enthusiastically, offering me some direction with video portraits. I find it hard to put into words how much I adore these images and the feelings they bring to my heart! This is the type of session I need of my family… I have 5 young children…all 7 years and under, and nothing would mean more to me than to have something like this…. Becky has a beautiful family and your gifted ability of capturing them is perfect, Brooke.
